Linkstone Capital was retained by the Government of Benin in April 2009 to advise it in the privatization of Benin Telecoms the country’s national operator.

The Government received offers from Expresso Telecom, France Telecom and Maroc Telecom which submitted the highest bid. The process was suspended after the Government and Maroc Telecom failed to reach an agreement.
